Gaelic Park (Ocovango) Wins On Debut At Loughbrickland

Well Bred Son Of Ocovango Makes Winning Debut

Saturday saw the well-bred Gaelic Park (5g Ocovango - The Last Bank, by Phardante) carry the colours of his breeder to a successful debut in the five-year-old maiden at Loughbrickland.

Michael Conaghan’s homebred was delivered late by Declan Lavery to lead in the shadow of the post, with the front pair drawing ten lengths clear of the field. Patrick Turley’s charge becomes the seventh winner out of The Last Bank, whose highest-rated progeny is dual Grade 1 winner Chantry House (Yeats).
