Love Envoi (Westerner) Lands The Grade 2 Success In The Jane Seymour Novices’ Hurdle At Sandown

Westerner Mare Adds Grade 2 To Unbeaten Record

Love Envoi (6m Westerner - Love Divided, by King’s Ride) extended her unbeaten record with a Grade 2 success in the Jane Seymour Novices’ Hurdle at Sandown.

A bumper winner on her sole start for Sean Doyle, the daughter of Westerner subsequently won all her three starts over hurdles for Harry Fry and was sent off favourite to continue the trend on Thursday. She led from the fourth flight on her favoured heavy ground and was asked to quicken from two out by Jonathan Burke. Keeping on well on the run-in, she scored by two and a quarter lengths, with another nine lengths back to the rest of the field.

A trip to Cheltenham may now be on the agenda for the Noel Fehily Syndicates owned mare, who was bred by Ciaran O’Toole.
