Yeats debut bumper winner could be “very, very good horse”

Trainer Harry Kelly has seen some high-class bumper performers pass through his hands and he holds Sir Will (4g Yeats-Tinopasa, by No Pass No Sale), a debut winner at Naas on Sunday, in high regard. The son of Yeats, who was bred by Paudie Ryan, lined up in what looked a classy bumper with a big home reputation, started as 7/4 favourite on his first run, and despite looking green, the four-year-old never gave his supporters too much worry. "I thought coming here he was going to be green and he was very very green," Kelly told irishracing.com. “He could be, potentially, a very very good horse. He's the opposite to his sister (black-type performer Que Pasa) and is lazy more than anything. He could have done with a lead for a lot longer. "There is plenty of improvement in him as he's a big bull. Thankfully it worked out and he's for sale obviously.”
