Yeats Mare Gains Maiden Hurdle Success

She Tops The Lot (7m Yeats - Top Lot, by Topanoora) followed up on a promising run last time out to take the Mares Maiden Hurdle at Bellewston on Wednesday.

Second in a similar contest last month, the Henry de Bromhead-trained mare was reunited with Rachael Blackmore to lead from the second flight. Ridden clear on the run-in, she kept on well to beat the favourite Trevena by three and a half lengths.

Speaking after the race, Blackmore said, “She had a good run the last day. She's progressed again and hopefully she'll stay going the right direction now.”
