$335,000 Filly for Jack Christopher at Keeneland November
A $335,000 filly led the way for Jack Christopher at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale this week when she was purchased by Elkhorn Racing.
Offered by Eaton Sales, the H & E Ranch-bred daughter of White Mischief is out of a half-sister to Grade II winner Leggs Galore. The page was given an update after the catalog was released thanks to a full sister to White Mischief when Victorious was third in the Dark Mirage Stakes to become the second stakes performer for their dam.
That Indian Charlie mare is a full sister to Grade III winner Conveyance, who is one of five stakes winners and six other stakes performers on the page.
Cherry Knoll Farm went to $200,000 to purchase a Nancy Shuford-bred colt out of Frost Lake from the Elm Tree Farm consignment.
The February-born colt is the first out of his Frosted dam, who is a half-sister to three stakes performers. Included in that group are stakes winners Decorated Soldier and The Truth Or Else. Her stakes placed half-sister Fighter Wing is also the dam of Grade III winner Glass Ceiling as one of three stakes producers on the page.
Jack Christopher saw his other weanlings sell for $160,000, $140,000, $135,000, etc. with mares in foal to the stallion bringing $400,000, $250,000, $200,000, etc. as well.
