$350,000 Mo Town Filly Catches Flurry Racing’s Eye

Each day of the OBS Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale, buyers have taken Mo Town juveniles to new heights with Flurry Racing going to $350,000 on Thursday to purchase a filly who breezed in :9.4 – his most expensive of the sale so far.

Consigned by Top Line Sales out of the mare Longride to Wisdom, the filly was bred by Moreau Bloodstock International in Kentucky. She is a half-sister to three winners from three to race and a granddaughter of the multiple stakes winner Clever Idea.

This is also the family of multiple Grade II winner and successful sire Kantharos, Grade III winner Ikigai and others.

Flurry Racing’s Staton Flurry said the filly is headed to trainer Brad Cox and will be named Key of Life.

Standing for $7,500 in 2022, Grade I winner Mo Town’s first crop has been very well received with horses from it selling for $540,000, $450,000, $300,000, $275,000, etc.
