$500,000 Filly for Pharoah at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic

Cherie Devaux went to $500,000 to secure an American Pharoah filly at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale yesterday after the filly breezed in :10.0 at the Under Tack Show last week.

Consigned by McKathan Bros. Sales as agent, the filly is the second foal out of the graded stakes winning Jordan’s Henny. This is also the family of the stakes winning Florida Keys, Umbrella Rig, Mink Hat, Lady Lear and many others.

Bred by Erv Woolsey and Ralph Kinder, the filly was the third highest priced filly of the sale and third highest priced juvenile overall of the second session.

American Pharoah juveniles have again been in high demand this year, with one bringing $1 million from Donato Lanni at the OBS March Sale to top his 2-year-old offerings.
