Yeats head shot

Another six-figure Yeats

25/06/2015

Yeats’ progeny continue to be hot properties in the auction ring and that continued at Wednesday’s opening session of the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale when he was responsible for a 125,000 euros three-year-old.

Kevin Ross snapped up the gelding, the first foal of the Supreme Leader mare Ella Watson, on behalf of leading owners Paul and Calire Rooney.

"He's just a real athlete and he's by a good and up-and-coming sire," said Ross.
