Exciting Son Of Mahler Sells For £210,000

Debut winner Encanto Bruno (4g Mahler - Stratosphere, by Selkirk) provided Colin Motherway with a fine return when selling for £210,000 at the Goffs UK Aintree Sale.

The smart four-year-old was knocked down to Derek O’Connor, who bid on behalf of trainer John McConnell.

A delighted Colin Motherway later commented, “He was always a lovely goer, and I loved him as a store. He’s been very easy.”

Bred by M O’Keeffe, Encanto Bruno is closely related to five-time winner Wintered Well (Milan) and £300,000 point-to-pointer Straight Red (Westerner).
