Good Times ahead for Mahler debut p2p winner
Lethegoodtimesroll (4m Mahler-Little Pearl, by Bigstone) provided another point-to-point victory for Mahler at Dromahane on Saturday when scoring on her debut.
The five-year-old, bred by Jennifer Mahon, was well-backed ahead of this run for trainer Joe Casey and she won what looked a competitive four-year-old mares’ maiden well.
“The newcomer Lethegoodtimesroll, who was well-supported in the market, always travelled well and she quickened nicely to the front before the final fence. She seems a track sort on this evidence and could well make a play in a bumper,” commented p2p.ie
Meanwhile the Irish Examiner stated that: “Croom-based owner/trainer Joe Casey seems to have a nice prospect on his hands in the form of Lethegoodtimesroll who made a stylish winning debut in the four-year-old mares’ maiden, the race that attracted the biggest field of the day in 15 runners.”
Mahler is standing for €5,000 at The Beeches Stud in 2015.
