Lots To Look Forward To With Daughter Of Yeats
The Cull Bank (5m Yeats - Creme D’Arblay, by Singspiel) thoroughly impressed when making it two from two for new connections in the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Plumpton on Monday.
A point-to-point maiden winner for Brian Jordan in early December, the mare won her first start for Alan King and owner Mrs June Watts in fine style last month and stepped up to two and a half miles on her latest start. Once again ridden by Wayne Hutchinson, she was sent off favourite and raced behind the leaders, taking over proceedings from the third last. In command by the second last flight, she extended her advantage to nine lengths on the line with great ease.
Alan King later said that there is “lots to look forward to” with the winner, who was bred by Christopher Maye.
