Munnings’ Red Pepper Grill Romps In Debut

Red Pepper Grill (2f Munnings x Windhoek, by Mineshaft) is the latest impressive juvenile winner for Munnings after romping home on debut at Colonial Downs.

Quick out of the gate in the five furlong race, Red Pepper Grill ran away from the field from the start. The filly held over a length in hand coming into the stretch and easily galloped home much the best to win by 6¾ lengths for PTK and trainer Dane Kobiskie.

Bred by Chance Farm, Red Pepper Grill is the first foal out of Windhoek, a half-sister to stakes winners Lunar Mist and South Andros and stakes placed Misty In Malibu.

Red Pepper Grill’s fourth dam is multiple Canadian champion Eternal Search, whose descendants include Grade II winners Frumious and Smokey Fire among others.

A leading juvenile sire year after year, Munnings has sired 15 2-year-old stakes winners and 26 2-year-old stakes horses led by Grade II winner Finite.
