Tribal Hunter (Sioux Nation) Impresses At Hamilton

Sioux Nation Colt Draws Clear On Second Start

Tribal Hunter (2c Sioux Nation - Mizayin, by Clodovil) built on a very promising debut to run out an impressive winner of Tuesday’s six furlong maiden at Hamilton.

Narrowly denied over the same trip earlier this month, Richard Fahey’s charge was sent off favourite under Oisin Orr and raced prominently throughout. Pushed along approaching the two furlong marker, he was ridden to lead a furlong later and kept on well to win by four lengths, going away. Wall Street Crash (Churchill) made a promising debut in second.

Tribal Hunter is owned by Hamad Ebrahim and was bred by Mrs Anna Giunta. The son of Sioux Nation provides an important update for his Highland Reel half-brother, who sells at Tattersalls Ireland next month.
