Sioux Nation’s Impress Start Continues With Six Figure Sale
As Sioux Nation’s first two-year-olds impress on the track, demand for his progeny continues in the sales ring, with a 110,000gns purchase the latest example at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up Sale.
James Delahooke provided the winning bid for Shanaville Stables’ Sioux Nation filly out of Qamarain, revealing that she was bought on behalf of Bob and Pauline Scott of Parks Farm Stud to be sent into training with George Boughey.
“This filly was my pick of the sale, she catches the eye,” Delahooke continued. “If she can run, she’ll be a breeding prospect for the farm. Sioux Nation has had some winners and there was a lot of competition for her.”
Impressive newcomer Bakeel became Sioux Nation’s third winner so far on Wednesday, when beating two previous winners in the Royal Ascot Two-Year-Old Trial.
