Son Of Mahler Follows Up In Impressive Fashion
Kinbara (5g Mahler – Dali’s Theatre, by Lomitas) made it two from two over hurdles with another wide margin victory in Saturday’s Novices’ Hurdle at Cartmel.
Successful on his sole start between the flags for Stuart Crawford, the son of Mahler made a winning start for John McConnell in a bumper last season and most recently bolted up by 18 lengths on his hurdle debut. Sent off a short-priced favourite at the weekend, he led from the early stages under Ben Harvey and began to draw clear before the second last. Never challenged, he won by 18 lengths, with another 28 lengths back to the third horse.
The talented son of Mahler is owned by Ms Caroline Ahearn and was bred by Ms T Hassett.
