Son Of Walk In The Park In The Clear In Beginners Chase

Talented hurdler Sa Fureur (6g Walk In The Park - Ma Furie, by Balleroy) added a chase win to his record when running out a wide margin winner at Fairyhouse on Saturday.

Gordon Elliott’s charge completed a hat-trick in a Grade 3 novice hurdle last season and was making his second start over fences in the two mile Beginners Chase. Ridden prominently by Jack Kennedy, he took second after the third last and gained the lead at the final fence, going on to win by 40 lengths.

Sa Fureur is owned by Caldwell Construction and was bred by the Honourable Mrs VMA Tower. The son of Walk In The Park is a half-brother to Grade 2 performer Sandymount Rose (Yeats).
