TDN Rising Star for American Pharoah and a New G1 Performer

Talented filly Princesa Caroline (2f American Pharoah x Sacre Coeur, by Saint Ballado) made a huge impression when cruising home to with ease at Belmont on Saturday.

Trained by Chad Brown, she stormed home to win the 1 and 1/16th mile contest on turf by three and a half lengths earning TDN Rising Star status.

A homebred for Runnymede Farm, Catesby W. Clay & Three Chimneys Farm, Princesa Caroline is a half-sister to Champion 3YO Filly and multiple Grade I winner Lady Eli as well as Grade III winner Bizzy Caroline.

She is the seventh winner from terrific producer Sacre Coeur, who delivered another filly last spring by American Pharoah, who very nearly had another Grade I winner on Friday.

His quality colt American Theorem (2c American Pharoah x Mighty Renee, by Maria’s Mon) was second in the Grade I American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita at just his second start.

Princesa Caroline is the 14th first crop winner for Triple Crown hero and now leading young sire American Pharoah.
