Danehill Dancer filly looks destined for top after G3 win

Once-raced maiden winner Esoterique (3f Danehill Dancer-Dievotchka, by Dancing Brave) headed into the G3 Prix Vanteaux at Longchamp on Sunday as favourite ahead of G1 winner Silasol and the betting market proved correct.

Baron Edouard de Rothschild’s home-bred, who is trained by Andre Fabre, was never pushed by Maxime Guyon to land the nine-furlong contest from Silasol and look another contender for top honours for Danehill Dancer.

“She had a good position half a length behind the leader and confirmed what she’s showed before, winning nicely,” Guyon told racingpost.com

Esoterique is a sibling to five black-type performers and a three-parts sister to 2005 G2 Prix Eugene Adam winner Archange D’Or (by Danehill).
