High Chaparral siblings at black-type double in Germany

High Chaparral was the toast of Germany on Sunday when responsible for a across-the-country Listed double courtesy of a full-brother and sister.

At Hanover, the Gestut Haus Ittlingen home-bred Laviva (5m High Chaparral-Lavorna, by Acatenango) came out on top in the Listed Preis der VGH Versicherungen for trainer Ferdinand Leve and jockey Robert Havlin.

Meanwhile, at Cologne, Laviva’s older full-brother Lucarelli (7h High Chaparral-Lavorna, by Acatenango) prevailed in the Listed Preis Der Oppenheim Vermogensverwaltung – Silbernes Band Des Rheinlandes, again for owner-breeder Gestut Haus Ittlingen and trainer Ferdinand Leve.
