Jukebox Jury returns with easy Listed success

Montjeu’s G1-winning son Jukebox Jury (5h Montjeu-Mare Aux Fees, by Kenmare) returned from an absence of nearly a year to easily land a classy renewal of the Listed Fred Archer Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

The Mark Johnston-trained entire, who was bred by Paul Nataf, captured the G1 Preis von Europa at Cologne as a three-year-old and had also won last season’s G2 Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket.

“It was only a Listed race but there were other Group 1 performers in there and I was delighted to see him get his head in front again,” said Johnston.
