Smart winner for Requinto

VIOLA DA TERRA winning at Chantilly

Viola Da Terra (3f Requinto ex Khandaar, by Xaar) won the Prix Talweg at Chantilly in good style on her seasonal debut for trainer Francis-Henri Graffard and owner Robert Ng. Racing Manager Rupert Pritchard-Gordon was delighted with the filly commenting “She’s probably a blacktype filly”. Bred by Ecurie Du Grand Chene, Viola Da Terra will be going after black type next and has been given an entry in the G3 Prix Vanteaux.

Requinto had a massive 55% strike rate with his first crop 2YO’s in 2016 which comes as no surprise when you consider he’s a record-breaking 2YO himself. One of the fastest and most precocious 2YO’s ever by Dansili, he’s out of G1 Phoenix Stakes and G2 Queen Mary winner Damson and stands at Castlehyde Stud for €5,000.
