For a third consecutive Sunday, Dylan Thomas starred with a high-class Group winner in Italy, this weekend courtesy of Porsenna (4c Dylan Thomas-Miss Mariduff, by Hussonet).
The Stefano Botti-trained colt took the G2 Premio Ribot at the Capannelle in Rome by half a length to continue his sire’s tremendous recent run.
The son of Dylan Thomas, bred by Gennaro Stimola and Vito Colonna, was winning a week after Final Score (3f Dylan Thomas-Holy Moon, by Hernando) took the G1 Premio Lydia Tesio. Seven days earlier, Dylan Mouth (3c Dylan Thomas-Cottonmouth, by Noverre), took the G1 Gran Premio del Jockey Club by four lengths in Milan.
That pair, like Porsenna, were both trained by Stefano Botti.
