$120,000 Filly Kicks Off Fasig-Tipton July for Echo Town

Grade I winner Echo Town got his first yearling sales season off to a big start on Tuesday when Tony Mills went to $120,000 to buy his filly out of Night Market.

Consigned by Four Star Sales, the Small Batch Thoroughbreds-bred is a half-sister to one winner from one to race out of her dam. That mare is out of the stakes placed Blowing Kisses, who is one of four stakes performers out of Grade I winner Hookedonthefeelin.

Hookedonthefeelin produced three-time Grade I winner Pussycat Doll, Grade I winner Jimmy Creed, and stakes winner Funny Feeling in addition to Blowing Kisses.

This is also the family of multiple Grade I winner Midnight Lucky with three of the four dams on this filly’s page either earning blacktype or being the dam of backtype earners.

The filly was the first to six-figures at this year’s Fasig-Tipton July Sale and the first yearling through the ring this sales season for Echo Town.

The stallion’s first yearlings have sold for $120,000, $90,000, $75,000, etc.
