$127,000 Colt Continues Successful Keeneland November For Cupid
It was another stellar day at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale for Cupid when Hip 2362 sold for $127,000 to be among the top priced weanlings of Tuesday’s session.
The second most expensive Cupid weanling to sell at Keeneland, he was bred by Springhouse Farm. The second foal out of Lisdoonvarna, he was consigned by Paramount Sales and purchased by Moon Bloodstock.
Lisdoonvarna is a granddaughter of stakes winning Star Of Goshen, who is the dam of dual Grade I winner and American Pharoah’s sire Pioneerof the Nile and Grade II second Forefathers.
A Grade I winning millionaire by Tapit, Cupid’s first weanlings have sold for up to $130,000 this sales season.
