$260,000 Colt for Munnings
Munnings was back in the spotlight at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale on Thursday when a colt out of Seaside Treasure sold for $260,000 to be the second most expensive yearling sold early in the session.
Purchased by JCM from the Ballysax Bloodstock consignment, the colt’s dam, Seaside Treasure is the dam of one winner from two to race. She is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Monba and out of a half-sister to Grade 1 winning Secret Hello.
The colt follows up on a $185,000 Munnings filly who sold to Shepherd Equine Advisors for Sanders & Hirsch yesterday to be among that session’s leading fillies.
