First Foal for Champion 3YO Maximum Security

Four-time Grade 1-winning Champion three-year-old Maximum Security sired his first foal at Dell Ridge Farm this morning, when Pussyfoot, a full sister to Grade 1 winner Morning Line, foaled a bay filly at 5.39am.

The filly was fittingly bred by Gary and Mary West, who also bred and raced Maximum Security, who earned over $12m on the track with wins including the Grade 1 Florida Derby, Grade 1 Haskell Invitational, Grade 1 Cigar Mile, the inaugural Saudi Cup and the Grade 1 Pacific Classic.

“She’s outstanding. She’s a big strong foal and is very well put together, I’m delighted with her. We have a lot of Maximum Security foals on the way and if they all look like this we’ll be very happy,” said Des Ryan of Dell Ridge Farm.
