Four On Offer By Maximum Security at Fasig-Tipton July

Four yearlings from the first crop of champion Maximum Security are set to go through the ring at next week’s Fasig-Tipton July Sale to kick off the yearling sales season.

His first through the ring is offered by Sheltowee Sales as Hip 5. The colt is a half-brother to stakes-placed Allen’s Rocket, who had increased earnings after the catalog was released. One of the colt’s half-sisters is also the dam of Grade III winner Flat out Speed and stakes placed Bonnieview while his dam was a six-time winner herself.

All four dams on this colt’s page have produced at least one stakes performer with his third dam the dam of Grade I winner Victory Speech and fourth dam the dam of Grade I winner Ida Delia.

Hip 53 is consigned by Cara Bloodstock and is a half-brother to two winners from two to race with his 3-year-old half-sister adding a maiden victory to her record after the catalog was released.

His dam Tocco is a half-sister to dual Grade I winner Coil and Grade I winner Chiropractor with two other stakes performing siblings produced by Eversmile as well. A winner herself, Eversmile is also a half-sister to champion Possibly Perfect.

Stuart Morris is consigning a Maximum Security filly on behalf of Highclere as Hip 74.

The filly is the second foal for three-time winner California Breeze, who herself is a daughter of Ava G. That mare produced stakes winner Miss My Rose among her four winners with her 4-year-old also adding a placing to her record.

This filly’s fourth dam is the multiple Grade 1 placed Winter Treasure, who also produced two stakes performers herself.

The final Maximum Security yearling to go through the ring is Hip 228 consigned by Warrendale Sales.

The colt is out of the stakes placed Unbridled Reward, who is a full sister to stakes winner Souper Charlotte and the stakes placed duo of Southern Parkway and Belleofthebridle. There is stakes form throughout this family with his third dam a half-sister to champion Silken Cat.

His third dam was also a good broodmare herself as the granddam of Grade I winner Mani Bhavan and Grade III winner Pink Champagne.

Maximum Security is one of three first-crop stallions standing at Ashford with yearlings selling at this sale alongside four-time Grade I winner Tiz the Law and Grade I winner Echo Town. The Fasig-Tipton July Sale kicks off at 10a.m. ET on July 11.
