Jack Christopher Yearlings Set for Keeneland January

After a weanling sale season that saw Jack Christopher’s first crop well received, his first yearlings debut at next week’s Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale with 18 set to go through the ring.

Trackside Farm offers Hip 164, a colt out of the stakes placed Bernardini mare Divine Mercy.

Bred by EGL-One and Sugarmill, the colt’s dam is one of two stakes performers out of the Grade II winning Miss Coronado. That mare’s other stakes performer is the stakes winner and Grade I-placed Arethusa, a three-quarter sister to Divine Mercy. Miss Coronado has proven to be a producer of producers with another daughter producing the Grade III-placed Fleetridge and the dam of the stakes winning Wave of Goodness.

Each of Divine Mercy’s first seven dams have produced at least one stakes winner with the 16 stakes performers listed on the colt’s page including Group I winner New Century, Grade II winner Ludy Lucia, and Grade III winners Karen’s Caper, Kinglet, and Passion and Glory.

That mare’s dam Episcopal has made a quick impact as a broodmare with her first two foals visiting the winner’s circle. Episcopal is a half-sister to the dual Grade I winner Catholic Boy from the runners out of Bernardini mare Song Of Bernadette.

Bred by Fred Hertrich and John Fielding, the stakes production continues under this filly’s third dam. That Grade III-placed mare is the dam of three stakes performers and two other stakes producers including the stakes winning duo of Return to Paradise and Coya.

This is another filly with stakes performers running deep into the pedigree. Each of her first seven dams have produced stakes performers themselves or the dams of stakes performers.

Uncle Mo mare Incredible You is the dam of Hip 239 offered by Four Star Sales.

The mare has one foal older than two with that runner finishing second in his 2025 debut – a maiden at Santa Anita. This colt was bred by Greathouse Equine, Glencrest, Kerry Cauthen, and Nate McCauley. Incredible You is out of the Grade I winner Zoftig, who has been an influential producer as the dam of Grade I winners Zo Impressive and Zaftig.

Those mares produced Grade II winner Souper Tapit and stakes winner and dual Grade II placed Spinoff. Another of Zoftig’s daughters produced two stakes performers including stakes winner Zorion and Group I placed Zip Top.

The second foal out of Grade III placed On Deck sells as Hip 330 with Paramount Sales.

Bred by Lesley Campion, River Oak Farm, and Brian Kahn, the filly’s dam was an eight-time winner and a half-sister to the dam of multiple stakes placed Coleccionista. Each of the dams on this page with racing age foals have produced stakes performers with Grade I winner Spring Quality, Grade III winner Holiday Star, and stakes winner Spring Season among the stakes performers named.

Each of On Deck’s first nine dams have produced stakes performers with seven of them producing stakes winners.

The sixth foal out of Sky Saver sells as Hip 392 with Four Star Sales.

That mare has produced four winners from five to race with the group including Grade II placed Procrastination. This filly bred by Glencrest Farm Mare Partnership, A. Ribble, T. Durr, K. Valente, and K. Zorn sees three more stakes performers under her granddam She Nuit All, led by that mare’s multiple Grade II placed dam Majestic Quality and Grade III-placed Diski Dance.
