Munnings Filly In Demand at Fasig-Tipton October Yearlings Sale
Munnings proved to be in demand during the third session of the 2019 Fasig-Tipton October Yearlings Sale on Wednesday when a classy filly out of stakes producing Nathan’s Mom Becky sold for $180,000 to become one of the highest priced fillies of the day.
Purchased by Shepherd Equine Advisors for Sanders & Hirsch, the filly was consigned by War Horse Place LLC.
A winner herself, Nathan’s Mom Becky has produced two winners from two to race including stakes placed Prince Pierce. The Wildcat Heir mare is out of Bedroom Blues, making her a half-sister to the dams of Grade I placed Past The Point and Grade III winner Commander.
The filly also hails from the extended family of Munning’s three-time Grade I winner I’m a Chatterbox.
