Non Compliant Tiz The Law Wins Del Mar Msw

Non Compliant 10th Winner for Tiz The Law

Tiz The Law registered a fourth winner in three days on Saturday when Non Compliant (2f Tiz The Law x Sensitively, by Street Sense) won on debut in a Del Mar Maiden Special Weight.

The Bob Baffert trainee went off as the second choice in the six furlong dirt race and quickly settled behind a four-way battle for the lead. Racing directly behind Tiz The Law’s other runner Usha, Non Compliant stuck to the rail while held well in hand by Juan Hernandez.

The jockey pulled her out of her spot as they started the run into the stretch and Non Compliant quickly picked up the leaders. Not asked for much in the final sixteenth, Non Compliant won by 1 ½ lengths with Usha in third.

Owned by Georgia Antley Hunt, Jeff Giglio, and John Rogitz, Non Compliant was bred by Ashview Farm and Old Oak Farm.

She is out of Street Sense’s Grade III winning daughter Sensitively. That mare is one of three winners from three to race out of Dressmaker with the family also including Grade I winners Martial Law and Lujain.

Now the sire of 10 winners, Tiz the Law’s first crop is led by Saratoga stakes winner Out On Bail.
