Peach Perfect Another Winner For Cupid
After hitting the board in all three of her previous starts, Peach Perfect (3f Cupid x George’s Peach, by Pleasantly Perfect) visited the winner’s circle at Parx on Wednesday with a three-length victory.
The seven-furlong dirt race saw the John Servis trainee close behind the leader while racing a few paths wide. Entering the turn three wide, she had the lead with a furlong left to run and under urging from jockey Frankie Pennington built her margin from there to three lengths at the line.
Now the earner of over $50,000, Peach Perfect races for Main Line Racing Stable and was bred in Pennsylvania by Andrew Simoff.
The filly is out of four-time winner George’s Peach, who is one of three winners out of Whitefish. Out of great broodmare Motokiks, Whitefish is a half-sister to Grade II winner Diversy Harbor and multiple graded stakes winners Keertana and Snow Top Mountain. Keertana is also the dam of Grade III winner Ticonderoga.
The sire of Grade II winner Desert Dawn among three stakes performers in 2022, Cupid has the most winners of any second crop sire this year at 23 with the 28 wins between them also the best of any stallion in his generation.
