Tiz The Law Filly Sells for $170,000 at Fasig-Tipton October
A filly out of Dothraki Queen led the 10 sold for four-time Grade I winner Tiz The Law this week at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale when Doug Arnold went to $170,000 to purchase the offering.
Bred by China Horse Club before selling as a short yearling, the filly was consigned by Straight Line Equine Sales as agent for Love’s Equine during this sale. Dothraki Queen also produced Uncle Mo’s winning Pathetique and herself was a successful racehorse as a Grade II winner who went on to place in multiple Grade Is.
The page is strong throughout with champions Ambitious Cat and Electronic Unicorn in addition to Grade I winner Blushing K. D. named with 13 stakes winners and six other stakes performers overall under her first three dams.
Tiz The Law’s first yearlings have sold for up to $550,000 this year with the group bringing $550,000, $550,000, $375,000, $375,000, $335,000, etc.
