Uncle Mo On Top at Fasig-Tipton October

Uncle Mo’s colt out of A.P. Dream topped both the current session and took over the overall Fasig-Tipton October Yearlings sale lead late in Wednesday’s session when selling to Donato Lanni for $600,000.

A half-brother to stakes winner Wind Fire, who is also the dam of stakes-placed Air Force Jet, the Lane’s End consigned colt is out of a full sister to Grade I winner and sire Majestic Warrior. A.P. Indy’s A.P. Dream is the dam of four winners from four to race and herself is a winning daughter of top producer and dual Grade I winner Dream Supreme. That mare also produced stakes winners Evolutionist and Crystal Current in addition to two stakes performers.

The Kinsman Farm-bred colt is bred on a similar cross to Uncle Mo’s Grade I winner Mo Town and three other graded stakes horses including this year’s Grade II Risen Star winner Modernist.

A top sire year after year and leading North American sire by graded stakes winners this year, Uncle Mo’s yearlings have been in high demand again in 2020, selling for $950,000, $775,000, $700,000, ect.
