850,000gns for “special” No Nay Never colt
No Nay Never’s first crop continue to be red-hot properties at the yearling auctions with a colt lighting up the first day of Tattersalls’ October Sale on Tuesday when realising 850,000gns.
Out of the High Chaparral mare Muravka, the half-brother to G1 Prix Morny winner The Wow Signal (by Starspangledbanner), is set to race in Japan.
Auctioneer Ollie Fowlston introduced the colt as “a king of a horse” and eventually Keisuke Onishi of the J S Company, sitting with trainer Yoshito Yahagi, saw off M V Magnier to get the prized colt.
"He's a special horse," said Onishi. "He has a very good walk and the owner likes big, strong horses - he's a very strong colt. Everything about him is special, he is a good colt.
