We Go (No Nay Never) winning the Prix Riverman at Maisons-Laffitte

Allez No Nay Never

The No Nay Never winners show no sign of slowing up with Henri-Alex Pantall sending out We Go (2c No Nay Never-Encore Merci, by Danehill Dancer) to prevail in France on Wednesday.

Beaten a short-head on his debut at Saint-Cloud, Madame Jacque Cygler’s juvenile went one better at Maisons-Laffitte when winning the six-furlong Prix Riverman by two lengths.

JDG commented: “Second on his debut last month, We Go (No Nay Never) was favourite on Wednesday and he opened his account on his second start in pleasing fashion. Mme Jacques Cygler's colt raced in second, behind front-runner Kilfrush Memories. He accelerated past the leader in the final stages, winning by two lengths from Kilfrush Memories…. Trained by Henri-Alex Pantall, We Go had just failed by a short-head to win against Pizzicato on debut. The latter has since easily won a Class 1 at Compiegne, remaining undefeated in two outings. This bodes well for the future of We Go.”
