Another Smart Juvenile Emerges For No Nay Never

Henry Adams (2c No Nay Never - Jigsaw, by Galileo) shaped with great promise when overcoming inexperience to win Saturday’s seven furlong maiden at Naas.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained newcomer was well-supported in the market and chased the leader for much of the way under Killian Hennessy. Asserting before the two furlong pole, he showed signs of greenness when ridden a furlong later, but kept on well to win by half a length. The first two home finished five lengths clear of the field.

Speaking after the race, Ballydoyle’s representative Chris Armstrong said, “It was a muddling race and he would appreciate a proper run seven from start to finish. Whether he goes for a conditions race next, or up into Stakes company, he’s one to look forward to.”

Owned by Coolmore partners, the son of No Nay Never was bred by Whisperview Trading out of a full-sister to dual Group winner Mohawk (Galileo).
