Another stakes 2yo for Mastercraftsman

Tough filly BlueGardenia (2f Mastercraftsman-Alegra, by Galileo) became the latest black-type winner for Mastercraftsman when scoring at Newmarket on Saturday.

Sir Robert Ogden’s home-bred captured the Listed Montrose Fillies’ Stakes over a mile in good style for trainer David O’Meara and jockey Shane Gray.

Gray was impressed with his mount and said: “Blue Gardenia was very game, enjoyed the ground and will get a bit further next year.”
