Back-To-Back Group 3 Wins For Son Of Starspangledbanner

Sunday saw the progressive Beauty Eternal (4g Starspangledbanner - Ithacan Queen, by Savabeel) add a second consecutive Group 3 win to his impressive record.

The John Size-trained chesnut won the Group 3 Lion Rock Trophy over a mile last time out and was sent off favourite as he dropped back to seven furlongs in the Group 3 Premier Trophy on Sunday. Racing in touch under Zac Purton, he was ridden from two furlongs out and produced a strong challenge a furlong later. Keeping on well to lead from 100 yards out, he was ridden out to beat regular rival Circuit Stellar by a neck.

Beauty Eternal has now won seven of his ten career starts, having placed on the other three occasions. The son of Starspangledbanner was bred by P Raftopoulos and is owned by Patrick Kwok Ho Chuen.
