Churchill Filly Never Headed On Second Start
Premiere Beauty (2f Churchill - Rosie’s Premiere, by Showcasing) was not for catching at Yarmouth on Thursday, when making all to win the fillies’ novice stakes.
The Stuart Williams-trained bay dropped down to six furlongs on her second start and appeared to appreciate the prominent tactics employed by Dylan Hogan. Shaken up two furlongs from hone, she was ridden out to hold off the favourite by half a length, with another two and a quarter lengths back to the third.
Owned by Ron Watts, Premiere Beauty previously proved a success in the sales ring, fetching 70,000gns as a foal and reselling for 160,000gns as a yearling.
