Classic heroine Ajaxana wins black-type for Rock

Ajaxana (4f Rock Of Gibraltar-Arlekinada, by Lycius), winner of last season’s G2 German 1,000 Guineas, added another stakes victory to her CV at Cologne on Sunday.

The Waldemar Hickst-trained filly easily held off British raider Crowley’s Law to win the Listed Stutenpreis der Ilse ind Heinz Ramm-Stiftung by a length and a half.
