Curragh winner Hammersmith another for No Nay Never
Trainer James Nash predicted that there could still be better to come from Hammersmith (2g No Nay Never-Dance Company, by Aussie Rules) after the No Nay Never juvenile scored at the Curragh on Monday.
The youngster, bred by J Connolly, prevailed over six and a half furlongs and Nash feels the horse has still to grow into himself.
"We've always liked him but you can see through the race there that it's just taking a long time to get from his head to his feet. He was green and awkward but at home he doesn’t show any of that,” said Nash.
"He's like a horse that will improve away as you can see the size of him. He's a big good-looking horse. It’s a great place to win at.”
