The Freddy Head-trained Sofast (2c Rock Of Gibraltar-Beautifix, by Bering) looked a high-class prospect when winning the G3 Prix de la Rochette at Longchamp on Sunday. The Rock Of Gibraltar colt, who was home-bred by the Wertheimer brothers, is now set to make his next appearance in the G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere back on Longchamp in October. “I didn't really expect him to win like that,” Head told www.racingpost.com. “That was a good distance for him and I believe he will improve further. He really did it well and we will now think about running Sofast in the G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.”
