He's A Monster (No Nay Never) Sells For 450000gns at the Tattersalls HIT

Exciting Son Of No Nay Never Brings 450,000gns

The highly-rated He’s A Monster (3g No Nay Never - Al Joza, by Dubawi) will continue his career in Qatar after selling to Blandford Bloodstock for 450,000gns at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale.

After confirming his purchase was made on behalf of Wathnan Racing, agent Richard Brown said, “We focussed on buying real quality and hopefully we’ve done that. He’s A Monster was recommended highly by Archie. He looks progressive and he's a particularly good-looking horse.”

Archie Watson trained He’s A Monster to win four races this season, the latest success earning the progressive three-year-old an official rating of 104. Alex Elliott’s €160,000 yearling buy carried the colours of Lone Star Investments and was reoffered via Elliott’s successful new consigning venture Imperium Sales.

“We have a lot of faith in He’s A Monster,” Elliott said on Tuesday evening. “Ralph Beckett has trained him masterfully. He’s a late May foal and he handles any ground, so he could be anything. It’s sad to see him go, but that’s the nature of the beast at the moment.”

Another progressive son of No Nay Never heading overseas is Florida (3g No Nay Never - Balankiya, by Darshaan), who was secured by Guy Mulcaster on behalf of Chris Waller Racing for 300,000gns. William Haggas’ charge got off the mark in December and went on to win a competitive contest at York in September.
