First Foal Arrives For Blackbeard

The first foal by No Nay Never’s dual Group 1-winning 2YO son Blackbeard was born on Tuesday when the Frank Hutchinson-owned Arabic Charm (Exceed And Excel), winner of two races, produced a bay filly. “She’s a very good first foal with plenty of strength and lots of quality,” said Coolmore’s Eddie Fitzpatrick. “A great start for both the mare and the sire.”

Blackbeard enjoyed a busy and fruitful campaign as a juvenile winning no less than six races including the Group 1 Prix Morny and Group 1 Middle Park Stakes. He was voted Cartier Champion 2YO and went on to cover a quality first book of mares. 160 were scanned in foal including no less than 50 Group/Stakes performers or dams of Group/Stakes performers.
