First foal for champion sprinter Ten Sovereigns

Unbeaten Gr.1-winning 2YO and European Champion 3YO sprinter Ten Sovereigns sired his first foal on Monday morning when Dweezil had a filly foal at Richie Fitzgerald’s Ballinasisla Stud. He described the new arrival as “a good, big, bay filly. She’s strong, correct and healthy.”

Owned by Allevamento Le.Gi., Dweezil is a four-time winner and a half-sister to Italian Derby-Gr.1 winner De Sica and Stakes winner Depp.

Ten Sovereigns is the best son of outstanding young sire No Nay Never (Scat Daddy) and his wins included the Middle Park Stakes-Gr.1 and the July Cup-Gr.1. He stands at Coolmore Stud at a fee of €20,000.
