Holy Roman Emperor Colt Notches Second Group Win
Sunday saw Geography (3c Holy Roman Emperor – Guajara, by Montjeu) gain his second Group 3 success when making all to win the Group 3 Fritz Henkel-Preis at Dusseldorf.
Bauyrzhan Murzabayev partnered Peter Schiergen’s charge in the mile contest, as he took on older horses for the first time, and asked the bay to quicken from the two furlong pole. He kept on well to beat British raider Molten Rock by a length and a quarter, with another two and a quarter lengths back to the third horse.
Geography is owned by Stalle Hanse and was bought by Moritz Becher as a yearling for €95,000. The son of Holy Roman Emperor was bred by Gestut Fahrhof out of the Listed-winning Montjeu mare Guajara.
