Improving Wootton Bassett Filly Wins On Return

The progressive Sea Of Ash (3f Wootton Bassett - Sea Of Leaves, by Stormy Atlantic) made a winning return to action in Friday’s mile maiden at Bordeaux.

The Gianluca Bietolini-trained bay finished second on her last two juvenile starts and was partnered by Fabio Branca on her three-year-old return. Racing prominently throughout, she improved to lead a furlong and a half from home and went on to win by a length and a quarter.
