Mo Mosa Brother Brings $350,000 at Fasig-Tipton October

Stonebridge Farm went to $350,000 to buy an Uncle Mo colt from Vinery Sales at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearling Sale.

The colt out of Roughing is a full brother to Uncle Mo’s Grade III winner Mo Mosa and saw another sibling record an update when his half-brother broke his maiden. Roughing is now the dam of three winners from five to race.

Roughing is a half-sister to the Grade I winner Diplomat Lady and Grade II winner Dream Play. Dream Play has produced Group II winner and Group I placed Zulu Land among three stakes performers in Australia. Another one of Roughing’s siblings is the stakes-placed Foxcaller, who has produced multiple stakes winners and is also the granddam of Grade I winner Hunter O’Riley.

This sale saw Uncle Mo’s yearlings bring $350,000, $300,000, $285,000, etc. with a $220,286 average for seven sold.
