Needs another for Never

The Joseph O’Brien-trained No Needs Never (2c No Nay Never-Opera Fan, by Cape Cross) brought another decent success for No Nay Never on Friday night.

The smart youngster captured a Down Royal maiden by a length under the trainer’s brother Donnacha.

"He's still big and raw. He's a horse that is going to keep improving," said the winning trainer. “He's massive and the further into the season we go the better he is going to be.”

It was a second win in three days for No Nay Never, who was also represented by North Wind (2c No Nay Never-Kawn, by Cadeaux Genereux), a three-length scorer at Naas on Wednesday for Aidan O’Brien.
