No Nay Never Colt Bolts Up At Saint Cloud
An exciting prospect by No Nay Never emerged on Friday when The Fixer (2c No Nay Never - Fixette, by Kodiac) drew eight lengths clear in the two-year-old conditions race at Saint-Cloud.
Trained by Francis-Henri Graffard for Stamford Bloodstock, The Fixer finished a close second to Myconian (Magna Grecia) on debut last month and was sent off a short-priced favourite on Friday. Breaking smartly under Tony Piccone, the bay made all of the running and was in command when shaken up approaching the final furlong. Soon clear, he kept on strongly to the line, as his rivals did their best to narrow the gap.
The Fixer was bred by Lynch Bages out of Group 3 performer Fixette, herself a daughter of another Group performer in Unique Pose (Sadler’s Wells).
